Polluted projects are rocking weird fiction, while newbies are taking over

16 Feb Polluted projects are rocking weird fiction, while newbies are taking over

I can proudly announce that our first Blue Danube Speakers newsletter is finally finished! Thanks to all the people, who helped making it happen. If you are interested and want to read it, just write an E-mail and we will send it as a .pdf to you! What happened at our meeting will explain the headline:

Klaus Lanzerstorfer gave a very interesting talk about his work as an architect and what is necessary to deliver the perfect project. Christian Wirth talked about the pollution in Linz, the reasons for it and what we can do to change that for the better. I started with something more fun than the “Management-Manual” and gave an entertaining speech, sharing some old memories of what it is like to play in a rock band. Wolfgang Schönberger did a great job on Table Topics and made us pretend to be authors, that have written books like “The manly art of knitting” or “Mommy drinks because you are bad”. The fun thing is, that these books actually do exist. We had four guest attending. I am really excited for our next meeting, because two of them will give their first Icebreaker speech. I wish them all the best luck in preparing and rehearsing.

Before I leave, I have two more important announcements:
Our next meeting will be on February, 27th and on February, 20th we will make an excursion to our friends from the Rhetorikclub Salzburg. If you want to join our roadtrip, let me know. We will meet at 17:00 at the main entrance of the central station in Linz.

That is it for now. I hope we will see us at our next meeting.
